THE Speedway Control Bureau have issued the following statement:

SCB Court of Appeal
Mildenhall v Cradley Heath: Sunday 19th June 2016

An Appeal, lodged by Mildenhall Speedway concerning the above Meeting was heard by the SCB Court of Appeal on Tuesday 19th July 2016.

The Members of the SCB Court of Appeal, chaired by Mr Tony Gillias, included SCB Member, Mr Alex Harkess (who participated by telephone) and Mr Peter Morrish (NDL League Co-ordinator)

The SCB Court of Appeal overturned the original decision and substituted the following sentences:

A fine of £1250 on Mr Kevin Jolly, £1000 of which will be suspended until the end of the 2017, meaning that £250 is due for immediate payment, but should Mr Jolly breach rules in the future, then the SCB are empowered to add this £1000 fine onto any subsequent penalty.

Mildenhall will have 3 Meeting Points deducted immediately from the current League table total.

The Meeting must be re-staged, at an agreed date at which reduced Spectator admission costs will apply and all Spectators will receive a Programme free of charge.
