This Sunday the Mildenhall ‘KJM/Manchetts’ Fen Tigers complete their home fixtures in the TPNL with the visit of local rivals the King's Lynn ‘Stebbings Car Superstore’ Young Stars. Although the play-offs are not an option the Fen Tigers will be all out for the win to finish the season at West Row on a high.

Both sides will be utilising rider replacement for missing riders, namely Kyle Hughes and Tom Stokes respectively and the Young Stars also have ex Fen Tigers rider Tom Bacon as a guest for their injured No 1 Josh Bailey. The Fen Tigers also call up Joe Lawlor and Rob Parker into the vacant reserve berths for this meeting.

Sunday’s fixture will be sponsored by Jeff, Roy and Sally Hibbs, Roy’s son Andy being an ex rider. They are massive speedway supporters who have come back to the sport after being impressed by Kevin Jolly’s policy of bringing through youngsters, and have in recent times helped the likes of current Fen Tiger Connor Mountain.

There will also be a number of familiar old faces at West Row on Sunday as Mildenhall Speedway welcome a group of ex-Boston riders as guests for the afternoon, some such a Ray Bales with a big Mildenhall connection too. They include in their ranks Steve Lomas, David Gagen, Peter Framingham, Michael Holding, Russell Osborne, Cyril Crane, Michael Keepe, Ray Bales, Wayne Dunworth, Tony Featherstone, Geoff Carnell and former team manager Graham Brown.

After the main meeting the ‘Stonefield Farm Shop’ Fen Tiger Cubs complete their home fixtures with a match against Kings Lynn Lightning.

National League debutants Alex Spooner and William O’Keefe performed well, even though they found points hard to come by and will have gained much from the experience.
