The ‘KJM/Manchetts’ Fen Tigers welcome back Sam Bebee for Sunday’s visit of the Isle of Wight ‘Warriors’ following a successful practise session at Kings Lynn on Wednesday evening.

The Fen Tigers will be looking to complete seven straight victories in the Southern Group of the National Trophy and all but seal a place in the Final. After winning the away tie on the Island 59-31 the Fen Tigers are in confident mood but will be aware that their opponents feature no less than four ex-Fen Tigers in their team, Chris Widman, Scott Campos, Danno Verge and Ben Hopwood. They will also include Connor King at reserve, a rider who Mildenhall supporters will be aware of from his days in the clubs MDL team in 2016.

Ryan Kinsley will retain the captain’s role in the continued absence of Jordan Jenkins and his scoring in the engine room of the side alongside experienced Danny Halsey will be key to Sunday’s fixture.

Kevin Jolly was pleased to welcome back Sam Bebee, he said “I am no fan of rider replacement and am pleased to see Sam back in our line up, he was unfortunate to sustain a wrist injury at Birmingham in the KO Cup and hopefully he can get a clear run now and really realise his potential. These are a big few weeks for us, after Sunday we go on a weekend tour to Stoke and Buxton where we need to get our National League campaign off to a positive start followed by a big must win KO Cup tie against a powerful Birmingham side. The lads have shown so far to up to every challenge put in front of them and this needs to continue as we get into our League and Cup campaigns”
