The Fen Tigers face a busy time in both the League and KO Cup with three meetings in four days commencing on the Isle of Wight on Thursday evening. The following evening the head to Plymouth for more league action before returning home on Sunday afternoon (3pm start) for the 1st leg of their KO Cup semi final tie with Belle Vue.

The ‘KJM/Manchetts’ Fen Tigers will be without Drew Kemp for the meetings at the Isle of Wight and Plymouth, rider replacement will be in operation on both occasions with all of the team able to take an extra ride, Kemp rejoins his teammates on Sunday after his first appearances for Ipswich.

The Isle of Wight will be at full strength with the return of ex Fen Tiger Chris Widman to their ranks and Belle Vue will also bring a full strength side to Mildenhall on Sunday. Plymouth, however, have had to make changes with Ellis Perks & Ryan Terry Daley injured, Ben Morley comes in as a guest replacement for Perks whilst Buxton’s Tom Woolley covers Terry Daley’s absence, they also will operate rider replacement for Tim Webster who is also injured. The ‘Devils’ also have problems at reserve with both Kelsey Dugard and Macauley Leek absent leaving the Plymouth management with the headache of finding two suitable unattached three point reserves.

Mildenhall team manager Phil Kirk is in a positive mood ahead of this busy period, he said “The team are full of confidence just now and head to the Isle of Wight and Plymouth looking to strengthen our position at the top of the League table. We spoke at the weekend and the unanimous opinion was to use Rider Replacement and cover Drew’s absence from within the team. The Island have certainly strengthened since we visited in May with Alfie Bowtell joining them but we will be all out for the win as we will on Friday at Plymouth.

Sunday afternoon is a massive meeting and we will be looking to take a big lead to the National Stadium, this should be a real cracker and hopefully our supporters will turn out in big numbers to support the team”
