The ‘KJM/Manchetts’ Fen Tigers will be looking to extend their unbeaten National League record to fourteen when they race rivals Birmingham this Sunday at West Row (3pm start).

The two clubs have already met three times this season with there never being more than eight points between the sides, the Fen Tigers overcoming the ‘Brummies’ over two legs in the KO CCup before claiming victory at Perry Barr in the League.

The Fen Tigers will be at full strength while the ‘Brummies’ will be operating rider replacement for the absent James Shanes. Ex Fen Tiger TomBacon will lead the visitors coming off the back of a match winning fourteen points for his Championship side Peterborough at Ipswich on Thursday evening and they also feature the exciting talent Leon Flint and Danyon Hume.

Kevin Jolly was looking forward to some big meetings over the coming week, he said “The next two Sundays see us face two of our main contenders for trophies this season, Birmingham and Eastbourne, followed by a National Trophy final against our old rivals from Cradley. These are the big meetings we have wanted and they will now come thick and fast, and the lads are so driven and focused they will take little motivating for these fixtures. If last Sundays meeting is any indicator the side is still improving and progressing and we are in for some exciting weeks in the run up to the end of the season”
